Plastic food storage wrap

2 or 3 gallon size food storage bags

6 quart size food storage bags

small container for edible glue (like a spice jar)

Icings

1 package of White Fondant (24oz size) or marshmallow fondant

1 Fondant Multi-pack (Primary or Pastel) or colored marshmallow fondant

Decorating Tools and Supplies

icing colors to color fondant

Fondant and Gum Paste Student Kit

Roll & Cut Mat or cake dividing wheel or heavy plastic to cover your table

20" rolling pin or heavy rolling pin

Small angled spatula

Disposable Decorating Gloves (optional)

Fondant smoother

Decorator brush

First class

12 inch cake circles or package of 12" Silver Cake Bases

1 package of gum paste

Piping Gel or White Decorator Gel 

Scissors

Scotch Tape if you are covering cake circles with foil

Reusable, disposable cloths (handiwipes)

2 tablespoons of white vegetable shortening

2 tablespoons of cornstarch

2 tablespoons of powdered sugar

Second class

dusting puff made from 1st class

Third and fourth class

wire (18 gage) or toothpicks

if using wire you will need needle nose pliers and wire cutter

gum paste

egg carton or muffin pans

muffin papers both small and large

styrophoam
